Polyester Meshes

A minor are of scaring and gentle capsules are distinctive of this three-dimensional knitted mesh. Thanks to the high degree of elasticity, this mesh is particularly suitable for the treatment of open abdominal wall hernias, as it absorbs the torsional force of the human body and moves with it. At the same time, it is strong enough to guarantee a permanent and optimal support of the abdominal wall. In addition, this mesh has a soft cut edge to minimize the “edge effect”.

SWING-MESH® SM2
The Swing-Mesh® SM2 is knitted from multifilament polyester. Thanks to this extraordinary two-dimensional machine-knit structure, the SM2 has a high memory effect and provides excellent advantages for laparoscopic and endoscopic treatment of inguinal hernias. The unique multidirectional character resembles human tissue, due to which long-term results are achieved. The softness of the material in combination with the high degree of resistance provides for an optimal basis for the use as a thorax wall replacement. 

SWING-MESH® SMA (anatomical)
With its two-dimensional structure (like the SM2), the innovative Swing-Mesh® SMA is perfectly suited for laparoscopic and endoscopic use when treating inguinal hernias. The anatomical shape adapts ideally to the structure of the body. To increase the memory effect, every mesh fibre is impregnated with PEU. Marks applied to the mesh facilitate the positioning of it in a short time.

SWING-MESH® SM3
The patented, three-dimensional honeycomb design is the character of the Swing-Mesh® SM3. By forming a large number of fine capsules around the mesh structure, the mesh remains flexible even after full integration and absorbs torsional forces of the body very well. This advantage is particularly important when it comes to treating large abdominal wall hernias. The three-dimensional structure with its multidirectional properties adapts excellently to the anatomical conditions. The extraordinary softness particularly of the mesh edges prevents irritations to nerves and tissue.
