Single-lumen and double-lumen embolectomy catheter for all common methods of embolectomy (also “over-the-wire”).
Distinctive properties
Single-lumen
The balloon catheter of the “SL” series is manufactured in extremely high quality: The balloon is wound from latex and adhered and has a flexible nylon shaft.
Double-lumen for angiography-embolectomy
The balloon catheter of the "F80" series has a double lumen with distal opening. This facilitates the use of guiding wires for the "over-the-wire" method and/or the injection of lysing liquids.
Double-lumen for irrigation embolectomy
The balloon catheter of the "FIE85" series enables the embolectomy with retrograde irrigation. In this case, the catheter is fed through the embolus, flushes behind the now blocked balloon and the now detached embolus can now be removed through the incision.
